Facebook introduced an editing feature in the messenger
According to the details, the social media website “Facebook” has also introduced an edit feature in its messenger, including end-to-end encryption like WhatsApp.
According to the foreign news agency, the end-to-end encryption feature ensures that what is sent can be read or heard by you and the person you are communicating with.
In this update, such chats or objects and content are not accessible to any third party i.e. the company itself that you are contacting.
On the other hand, Facebook has also introduced the edit feature in Messenger, under which users will be able to edit the sent message within 15 minutes. In a blog post from Facebook, it was confirmed that the edit feature along with the end-to-end encrypted feature has been introduced on Messenger.
Under the edit feature, all users will be able to edit the sent message within 15 minutes, but after 16 minutes, the sent message will not be able to be edited. To edit, users will have to click on the sent message and select it, after which an optional bar will open where there will be an edit option.
Until now, the messenger comes with options like copying the message along with delete, but soon it will also see an edit option.
