Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood has announced that educational institutions in seven districts of Punjab will remain closed from March 15 to March 28. Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan, Lahore, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, and Gujranwala. Educational institutions in Islamabad will also remain closed from March 15 to March.

In addition, offices in Islamabad will be open with 50% attendance, while entertainment venues will have to close by 6 pm.

The spread of corona is increasing in Pakistan, the pressure on hospitals is increasing with the increase of cases, the rate of corona has increased in the country during the last week, citizens should wear face masks outside their homes in any case. Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said that the situation in Sindh and Balochistan is almost normal but problems have been seen in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Kashmir. Educational institutions in Sialkot and Peshawar have been closed for two weeks on Monday, March 15. All educational institutions will reopen on March 28. Institutions, where examinations are taking place, will continue.
