At least 20 dead in Russia illegal care home fire

At least 20 people were killed in a fire at a care center set up for the elderly in the Russian city of Kemerovo.

According to foreign media reports, the care center for the elders in Kemerovo has been set up illegally, with a building 2-story and made of wood.

Media reports say the fire took place late at night. Due to the heating boiler, the wood centers were burning overnight, resulting in the burning of the upper part of the care center completely.

According to authorities, the fire brigade arrived at the scene as soon as the incident was reported and six injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical help.
