Govt reduces petrol, diesel prices by nearly Rs2 per liter

The government announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products.

According to the notification issued in this regard, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 1 rupee 71 paise while the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 1 rupee 79 paise.

After the reduction in prices, the new price of petrol has gone up to Rs 100.69 while the new price of high-speed diesel has gone up to Rs 101.43

Besides, the price of light diesel has been maintained at Rs 62.86 per liter while the price of kerosene has been maintained at Rs 65.29 per liter. According to the notification, the new prices will be applicable from 12 tonight.
