Twitter is adding full-screen video feed like TikTok – News Line

Micro-blogging website Twitter has started experimenting with introducing features similar to the short video-sharing application TikTok to gain more users’ attention.

According to a blog post shared by Twitter, users will now be able to watch videos by scrolling like TikTok and the testing of such a feature has been started initially by mobile users with the iOS operating system.

Initially, limited users have been given access to the trial feature, under which users will be able to click on any video to view it on a larger and scrolling screen, and when the said video ends, users will simply scroll the video to see a new video. Will start coming.

Under this new feature, if a Twitter user doesn’t want to watch a video, they can go back to their news feed or the same tweet they came from when scrolling through the video by clicking the arrow above the video.

The blog shared by Twitter further revealed that a new tab is being added to Explorer, where users will be able to view popular videos on Twitter.

Under the said feature, users will be able to go to Explorer and go to ‘Videos for You’ to see the videos that are most popular on Twitter.

Under this feature, users will be shown the videos that are most popular in their region or country.

Although the blog confirmed that users on Twitter will now be able to view videos with a scrolling feature, it is not clear whether users will be able to create videos on Twitter like TikTok.

However, there is a possibility that Twitter will introduce the feature of making videos like TikTok after some time but it is too early to say anything in this regard.
