Roman Reigns talks about facing The Rock at WWE WrestleMania 39
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns says he is ready to face WWE legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at WrestleMania 39.
He is currently the undisputed WWE Universal Champion, having unified the WWE and Universal titles at WrestleMania 38 in April.
According to foreign media, he recently appeared on Logan Paul’s podcast “IMPAULSIVE” and commented on a possible match with The Great One. The match is reportedly set to take place next year at So-Fi Stadium in Hollywood for WrestleMania 39.
“They keep trying. Everybody keeps trying. I don’t book shows, bro. I’m ready for anybody. If it works, I’m ready,” Reigns said. “
Reigns said he takes advantage of opportunities that come his way, and he’s been in a “really cool groove” as of late.
“It seems like that’s what happened. All the big names, all the big stars, whether it’s from our business, from movies, now to the Internet, I’ve been in a really cool groove where these things have come to me, so I hope they just continue to do that,” he said.
Regarding his use of social media, Reigns commented that he only uses his platform to promote his WWE character.
“Now it’s just character stuff,” Reigns said. “I’m not responding to the haters or trying to clap.”
In this 75-minute podcast, he talks about his battles with leukemia, working with John Cena, and his family life.
