Chinese national arrested on the charge of raping girl in Islamabad
According to the details, Islamabad Police have arrested a Chinese national for sexually abusing a teenage girl for months.
According to the report of a private newspaper, a report was filed on behalf of the girl, on which a case was registered against the accused at Coral Police Station.
According to the registered FIR, the 16-year-old girl who was raped is a ninth-grade student of the school. The girl was working as a translator with a Chinese national at a salary of Rs 15,000 per month since May 2021 in a CTV installation business in Ghori Town.
The accused started harassing her soon after she started her job and raped her in January this year. The accused threatened the victim with dire consequences and continued to rape her.
According to the FIR, the girl became pregnant as a result of the rape but she did not disclose it to her family, however, her elder sister saw her condition and took her to a private hospital in F-8 where she was 31 Declared more than weeks pregnant, the sister later approached the police to register a case.
The suspected Chinese man has been arrested and remanded on two-day physical remand from the magistrate’s court, police officials said, adding that the suspect’s passport has also been seized.
A medical was conducted for DNA matching of the sample of the accused and the girl.
Police said that during interrogation, the accused admitted to having physical relations with the girl but denied the allegations of rape.
