According to local officials, the bus from Rajasthan to Uttar Pradesh was standing on a bridge due to running out of fuel. Some passengers, including the driver, got off the bus and were standing when a speeding truck ran over them. 12 people were also injured in the accident. The bodies and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Among the dead are 6 women. There is a chance of an increase in casualties. The police have registered an FIR and started an investigation into the accident.
