YouTube testing new feature that allows to zoom in on videos

A new feature is being introduced for YouTube users that will allow them to zoom in on any video.

The feature is being tested in YouTube’s mobile app but is only available to premium subscribers.

Pinch-to-zoom feature will allow you to zoom the video in either portrait or full-screen view.

According to the company, the testing of this feature will continue till September 1, after which it is likely to be rolled out on a large scale.

After a month of testing, changes to the feature will be introduced based on user feedback.

You can use this feature if you are a YouTube Premium subscriber.

To use this feature, open the YouTube settings menu on the phone or website and go to the ‘Try New Feature’ section.

8x zoom will be possible with this feature, but it is not clear whether YouTube will introduce this feature for general users or not.
