Emma Roberts gets real about the importance of embracing confidence

Hollywood star Emma Roberts is opening up about the importance of being confident while also uplifting others. 

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the Wild Child star touched upon her newly-launched campaign partnership with Express, called 30 Seconds to Confidence.

“I desire [embodying confidence] is so important, especially now, where we live our lives such a lot online—to see things that cause you to feel good and to be ready to express things that cause you to feel good,” she said.

“I just love that [this campaign] is encouraging people to not only share what makes them feel confident with clothing but also what makes them feel confident in lifestyle,” she continued.

“I desire anything on social media which will be positive and lifting people up, and, like, encouraging confidence and happiness, is basically important, because the web is often such a dark place sometimes,” she went on to mention.

“We’ve been during a world where there’s been much bad news within the last year and a half, so to spread something that’s light and fun, and makes people feel good about themselves, is particularly important immediately,” she added.
