Royal Author Claims Meghan Markle 'Wanted to Be Number One' and 'Didn't Understand Hierarchy' of Royals

Meghan Markle wanted to be “number one” in royal “rankings”.

A royal writer claims Meghan Markle wanted to top the “hierarchy” of royals but the Duchess “didn’t get it”.

During his conversation with Ben Shepherd and Charlotte Hawkins on Good Morning Britain, British biographer Tom Bower alleged that Meghan always chased fame.

She added that the suit alum got it wrong because she didn’t understand the family’s hierarchy.

“She didn’t understand that she couldn’t be number one. There’s only one number in the kingdom, and she didn’t understand hierarchy,” Bower said.

“Meghan Markle thought this monarchy was like Hollywood, all about celebrities. It was about hard work with little reward, and she didn’t like that.

Bower added, “Meghan told her father when she was young, ‘I want to be famous. I want to walk the red carpet. By marrying Harry, she got exactly that wish.’
