According to the details, Meta, the company that owns social media platforms Facebook and Instagram, has launched its new app ‘Threads’ to compete with Twitter.

Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook and the owner of Meta Company, said “Welcome” while posting the first post on the new app “Threads”.

According to Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Meta Company, 5 million people created accounts in just one hour after the launch of the new app Threads.

It should be noted that about this new app ‘Threads’, Meta says that it is a ‘text-based conversation app’ that will be linked to Instagram.
The description of the app on the Apple Store states that ‘Threads are where communities come together to discuss topics that are believed to be trending tomorrow’.

So for now this new app is apparently a free service and there will be no restrictions on how many posts a user can view.
