The inter-provincial education ministers’ conference will be held on July 7 in which a decision is expected to be taken to open all educational institutions in the country.

An inter-provincial ministerial conference chaired by Shafqat Mahmood (Minister for Education) was convened on July 2 to decide on the opening of educational institutions, including universities, but the conference was postponed due to the death of Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood’s mother.

Sources said that the inter-provincial education ministers’ conference will now be held on July 7 in which a decision is expected to be taken to open educational institutions across the country. The federal education ministry has sought suggestions from the four provinces and the Higher Education Commission.

It should be noted that millions of students have been deprived of education due to the closure of educational institutions across the country due to the Corona epidemic.
