Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer’s wife Linda Kramer dies at 55
Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer’s 13-year-old wife has died.
A spokesman for the musician confirmed that Linda Kramer, a former Hewlett-Packard contract administrator, had died on June 22 at the age of 55.
The cause of death has not yet been determined.
She was also said to have taken great care of her family, friends, and her dogs, Lucy and Cosmo.
Kramer and Linda were married in October 2009, and the musician described her as the love of his life.
The deceased said: “Linda loved gambling and her well-being and happiness were her top priorities.”
Survivors include her husband, her parents, her three sisters, her half-brother, her half-son, as well as her nieces and nephews.
Kramer announced in March that he would not join Aerosmith for the reopening of his ‘Davis Are Wild’ residence in Las Vegas this summer, citing his “temporary leave of absence”. There are family issues behind it.
Dates were canceled in May when the band’s frontman Steven Tyler, 74, returned to the rehabilitation after recovering from recent leg surgery.
The news of Kramer’s wife’s death came as Tyler was said to be “surprisingly well” after completing a 30-day rehabilitation phase after his drug battle.
Family sources said on Friday that the singer is said to be clean and smart after checking himself with the rehabilitation facility, while internal sources said that the actor’s weight is “healthy”.
