Protests against abortion ban in US

According to reports, protests against the ban on abortion began in the United States.

The US Supreme Court has overturned a decision of its own 50 years ago, which declared abortion legal.

In the immediate aftermath of the Supreme Court ruling, right-wing and conservative US states have banned the provision of medical abortion services immediately.

President Joe Biden has called the abortion court’s decision a “tragic mistake” based on extremist ideology.

Biden called on Congress to protect abortion services in law. According to Biden, this will be a major issue in the November midterm elections.
