How To Apply For Rs.2,000 – Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel Scheme

The process to apply for the Prime Minister’s Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel Scheme was announced by Finance Minister Miftah Ismail to help the masses fight the upcoming wave of inflation in the light of 30 rupees increase in the prices of petrol during a press conference in Islamabad.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced a relief package following the increase in petrol prices.

The recent hike in the prices of petroleum products is expected to bring a new wave of inflation to the country.

Who is eligible for this scheme?

Families whose income is less than 40,000 rupees per month can avail of the Petrol Relief Package.

How to apply for Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel Scheme?

According to the statement of Finance Minister of Pakistan Miftah Ismail that those who are already registered under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) will automatically get Rs. 2,000 under the Prime Minister’s Petrol Relief Package.

If you are not part of the BISP. To apply for Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel Scheme, send your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) to 786 to check your eligibility.

The CNIC should belong to a woman in your family. After sending the SMS, you will be informed whether you are eligible or not within three days.

How many people will benefit from Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel Scheme?

Finance Minister of Pakistan Miftah Ismail said, as many as 14 million families across Pakistan will benefit from the Petrol Relief Package.

Out of these 14 million families, 7.3 million are already registered under the (BISP) Benazir Income Support Program.

2,000 pkr will be given in June as finance minister Miftah Ismail said.
