According to reports, the Federation International de Football Association (FIFA) has restored Pakistan’s membership.

FIFA has announced that it will lift all sanctions and restore membership of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF).

Haroon Malik, chairman of the PFF normalization committee, said the committee’s hard work and the prayers of the football family had finally paid off.

“On June 29, 2022, the FIFA Council Bureau decided to lift the suspension imposed in April 2021 due to illegal interference in the PFF.”

It added that the decision was made after FIFA confirmed that the PFF’s normalization committee had taken full control of the PFF’s premises and was in a position to handle its financial affairs. Is.

The PFF was also informed that any unnecessary interference in its affairs which could hinder the fulfillment of the mandate of the normalization committee, re-suspension of the PFF and / or enforcement of other restrictions provided for in FIFA rules.

“Since the normalization committee needed to meet its mandate (June 30, 2022) is no longer realistic, the bureau has decided to extend the committee’s mandate to June 30, 2023.”
