Elon Musk activates Starlink after the Internet was cut off in Ukraine

Ukraine’s Internet system has been cut off since the Russian invasion of Ukraine. After which Elon Musk’s company SpaceX has provided internet facility in Ukraine.

Elon Musk said in a tweet that the Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals are being opened.

@elonmusk, while you try to colonize Mars — Russia try to occupy Ukraine! While your rockets successfully land from space — Russian rockets attack Ukrainian civil people! We ask you to provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and to address sane Russians to stand.

Prior to the tweet, Ukraine’s Minister of Transformation had requested Elon Musk to provide Internet access.

The Ukrainian minister said in a tweet to Elon Musk that he was preparing to settle on Mars. Russia is trying to occupy Ukraine. Russian rockets are attacking the Ukrainian people. We are asking you to provide Starlink station to Ukraine.

In response, Elon Musk tweeted that the Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals are being opened.
