A petition
has been filed in the High Court for banning the drama serial ‘Ehad E Wafa’.

According to
private TV, the petition filed in the Lahore High Court has taken the stand
that the role of politicians and media of the country is being played in drama
serial ‘Ahad Wafa’, thereby creating a negative impression of Pakistan in the
outside world. Therefore, the court should ban ‘broadcasting’ of this Drama.

It is to be
noted that the play titled ‘Ehad E Wafa’, directed by Saifi Hassan, is the
story of 4 friends, with Ahad Raza Mir, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Osama Khalid Butt and
Wahaj Ali playing the lead roles. Along with him, Zara Noor Abbas, Alizee Shah,
Hajra Yameen and Vaniza Ahmed are also playing important roles.

The drama
serial Ehad E Wafa was developed in collaboration with ISPR.
