The weather turned cold due to rain and snowfall in mountainous areas across the country

According to details, intermittent rains which started from night in most parts of the country have continued due to which the severity of cold has increased.

Rains are continuing in different parts of Punjab including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Chakwal, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Manchinabad, Pakpattan, Sialkot and other areas.

Meanwhile, snowfall has started again in Murree, Galyat and surrounding areas which will continue for the next two days.

Rains are continuing in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Peshawar while snowfall has also started in the mountains.

Light rain and snowfall has also started in some parts of Balochistan.

According to the Meteorological Department, intermittent rain and snowfall is likely to continue across the country for the next two days.
