Bodies of 8 people found inside a home in southern Utah

Police in Utah say eight bodies were found inside a house in the southern part of the state in Enoch city on Wednesday. According to investigators, all the victims suffered from bullet wounds.

Three adults and five minors were found dead inside the house, officials said. Police were called home to check welfare and at the same time when they found the bodies inside.

Officials reported that they were not convinced that there was a threat to the public or that a suspect was widespread.

Until Wednesday night, an active investigation was still underway and the house was considered a crime scene.

Police did not immediately provide specific details about any relationship between the victims, or did not provide details about their identity.

According to Police, “The investigation is still active and further information will be provided at a later time.”
